Dynasound networked sound masking systems
Dynasound networked sound masking systems operate on standard
network hardware and offer an exceptional level of control for every
speaker.

Re-zoning of the system can be done without rewiring. Our network
sound masking systems do not use primary and secondary hubs, or have
multiple speakers on a shared address. Every speaker is individually
addressable.

Industry standard network switches, cabling and design practices are
used. The system provides power, digital audio and control signals via
standard Cat-5 cables. PC based software is provided in addition to the
ability to control the system using SNMP commands.

Dynasound DS3002 and DS3008 sound masking processors
provide four sound masking generators, two or eight balanced
analog inputs and outputs, full DSP and are used to convert
analog signals such as paging or music to network digital audio.
Dynasound DS8000 processors provide four sound masking
generators, eight network audio inputs, full DSP, eight speaker
outputs, and are used to provide individual control to eight
speakers. The DS8000 receives power, digital audio and control
signals via one standard Cat-5 cable.
Dynasound DS1356 speakers have the same appearance as the
DS1338, but are designed to be connected to the DS8000 network
speaker controllers. These are 8 ohm speakers, versus the 70 volt
speakers used in centralized systems. Am eve-bolt provides single
point suspension. Speakers are available in black or white.
Dynasound networked soundmasking systems use industry
standard network switches and topology. Any commercial grade
PoE compliant network switch is suitable. Typically Dynasound
specifies switches produced by NetGear.
  • PoE compliant using cat-5 cable provides power,
digital network audio, and system control signals via
    a standard network.
  • Minimum of components;easy to design and
    configure.
  • Every speaker is individually controllable; no
    primary/secondary limitations or multiple speakers
    per address.
  • Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 control software
    provided.
  • Connected by CobraNet™ providing connectivity
    with other pro-audio components.
  • Dynasound networked sound masking systems can
be combined with traditional 70 volt systems
creating hybrid systems, all under the same
    software control.
Soundmasking.com is the web site of  Dynasound, Inc., the industry leader in soundmasking since 1975.  Dynasound is a process driven organization that
provides turn-key soundmasking solutions tailored to the requirements and characteristics of each environment.  While the  term has  evolved  into  the single
word  “soundmasking”,  all  three  terms;   “masking sound”,  “sound masking” (two words),  and “soundmasking”  are  grammatically  correct. Sometimes
confused for "white noise" and "pink noise", sound masking is a  low-level, broadband  sound  precisely  contoured  to  mask (cover up) unwanted  background
noise and distracting speech.  This custom tailored sound is introduced into the office environment through a sound masking system inconspicuously located
above the ceiling or under an access floor system.    Specialized  eavesdropping  protection systems  by Dynasound protect  sensitive  conversations from
deliberate eavesdroppers.   Dynasound is  dedicated  to providing  cost-effective,  single-source  commercial  sound masking  and  audio  security.
